Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Cancellations

1.1 All bookings require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule.

1.2 Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a 50% cancellation fee of the quoted service.

1.3 No-shows or cancellations made after the detailer has arrived on site will incur an 80% charge of the quoted service.

1.4 Appointments affected by severe weather (heavy rain, storms, hail, or extreme heat) will be rescheduled at the earliest convenience. No cancellation fee will apply.

1.5 Apex Detailing Co reserves the right to reschedule or cancel services in the event of unsafe working conditions, severe weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

2. Vehicle Condition & Pre-Inspection

2.1 All vehicles are subject to a pre-inspection before work begins to identify paint condition, damage, and specific service requirements.

2.2 Apex Detailing Co reserves the right to adjust pricing if the vehicle’s condition differs significantly from the original description provided at booking.

3. Liability & Personal Belongings

3.1 Clients are required to remove all personal belongings from the vehicle before the scheduled service.

3.2 Apex Detailing Co does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage of personal belongings left inside the vehicle. This includes, but is not limited to, wallets, electronics, jewellery, and documents.

3.3 While all reasonable care is taken during detailing, Apex Detailing Co is not liable for pre-existing damage, weak trims, or deteriorated surfaces that may become apparent during the detailing process.

4. Paint Correction & Risk Acknowledgement

4.1 Paint systems vary significantly between manufacturers and models. Some vehicles may have softer paint that is more susceptible to marring, while others may have harder paint requiring aggressive correction methods.

4.2 Due to these variations, Apex Detailing Co cannot guarantee 100% defect removal. Results will vary depending on paint hardness, defect severity, and prior repairs.

4.3 In cases where vehicles have been resprayed, blended, or present unknown paint layers, a paint risk management fee may apply.

4.4 By approving any paint correction service, the client acknowledges that all corrective work carries inherent risks and accepts responsibility for those risks.

5. Service Durability & Maintenance

5.1 Durability of protective coatings (spray sealants, ceramic, graphene) is dependent on proper maintenance and external factors such as driving conditions, weather, and wash frequency.

5.2 Apex Detailing Co provides aftercare recommendations, but longevity of protection cannot be guaranteed if maintenance is not followed.

6. Payments

6.1 Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6.2 Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, or approved digital methods.

7. Warranties & Exclusions

7.1 Apex Detailing Co does not provide warranties beyond statutory consumer guarantees under Australian law.

7.2 We are not responsible for future damage, wear, or deterioration once the service is complete.

8. Privacy Policy

8.1 Client information collected (contact details, vehicle details, service history) will only be used for the purpose of providing services and customer communication.

8.2 Apex Detailing Co does not share personal information with third parties without consent, except as required by law.

9. Customer Acknowledgement

9.1 By booking a service with Apex Detailing Co, the client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms & Conditions.

9.2 Apex Detailing Co reserves the right to update or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of changes prior to future bookings.
